Dr. Phil Hudson is a 1972 graduate of The University of Southern California School of Dentistry. In 1980, he moved his family to the Pacific Northwest to enjoy its quality of life and established his practice at 123 West Cascade Way, in North Spokane. His children (Tara, Joanna, Christopher, Patrick, Elizabeth, Kathryn, and Andrew) grew up in the same home where he and his wife Jan still live.  Six of the kids are now married, and in addition to wonderful spouses, fifteen grandchildren have also joined the family (and two more are on the way).

Dentistry for the Twenty First Century

In 1990, Dr. Hudson's practice underwent a transformation when he introduced lasers to the Pacific Northwest.  Since that time, he has successfully treated thousands of patients with a variety of instruments.  Virtually all of those who have experienced "The Light Touch" prefer it to traditional care, and would recommend it without hesitation to their friends.

Continuing Education Opportunities

Dr. Hudson regularly attends seminars and symposia that focus on emerging technologies in medicine and dentistry.  He has traveled far and wide to share his knowledge with dentists from around the world, and regularly lectures at national and state meetings and at local dental societies.  He has been a visiting clinical instructor at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry, The HOYA College of Clinical Laser Dentistry, the Nash Institute for Dental Learning, and The Center for Exceptional Practices, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the Asia Pacific Laser Institute, and the World Clinical Laser Institute.  He currently is a faculty member of Advanced Laser Training, Inc., and Advanced Laser Learning, Inc..  (For an insight into the educational objectives of these organizations, visit AdvancedLaserTraining.com, and AdvancedLaserLearning.com).

Service to The Profession

He is co-founder of TEAM Laser Training of North America, a consulting firm dedicated to continuing dental education.  In addition, Dr. Hudson is a Master of The Academy of Laser Dentistry and of the World Clinical Laser Institute, and is a Certified Dental Laser Educator and Testing Examiner. He has served on the Academy's Board of Directors, and is one of only a handful of dentists in the United States to be recognized by the Academy as a Dental Laser Education Course Provider.

Service to The Spokane Community

Dr. Hudson's continuing mission is to incorporate into his practice every development in high-tech dentistry in order to provide his patients with care second-to-none.  To that end, each year 10% of practice revenues are invested in new technologies to improve the infrastructure within the practice.
