The real tragedy in life is not children who are afraid of the dark, but men who are afraid of the light.

First in The Northwest to Use Lasers
Since 1990, when we introduced the Northwest to lasers, we have treated thousands of patients with these amazing instruments.

We use lasers instead of a dental pick to detect cavities, and we use them to treat tooth decay and gum disease.

Laser therapy is a minimally invasive alternative to conventional surgical periodontal therapy (gum treatment).  (Click on this link to learn more: Healthy Gums)

Because lasers are precise and conservative, the need for anesthetic is reduced.

After laser therapy, patients require less medication for discomfort.

With gentle "Photonic Energy," the laser bio-stimulates tissue at the cellular level for rapid and comfortable healing. (Click on any of these links to learn more: Soft Laser TherapyLow Level Laser TherapyThe Fires WithinLaser Gum Treatment).

When our patients require conventional dentistry, we use the laser as an accessory instrument so that treatment progresses more quickly, more easily, less invasively, and with greater comfort and efficiency.

Patients especially appreciate our ability to use the laser in conjunction with other emerging technologies. (Click on this like to learn more: Touch The Future)

Virtually all of those who have experienced "The Light Touch" prefer it to traditional care and would recommend it without hesitation.

There is no additional fee when we use the laser during treatment!

We Practice with "The Light Touch"

For young and old, the consensus is "Once you've tried it, you can't stop smiling."  We have discovered that most of our patients share with their friends their enthusiasm for dentistry with lasers.  There is room in our practice for everyone who embraces the concept of comprehensive high-tech oral health care.  Most importantly, we are making a conscious effort to maintain a personal touch as our Center for Advanced Dentistry continues to grow.  (Click on these links to learn more: Invitations to Our PracticeSpecial of The Month).

Laser Education Never Ceases

We regularly attend seminars and symposia that focus on emerging technologies in medicine and dentistry and have traveled far and wide to share our knowledge with dentists from around the world.  We have lectured hundreds of times at national and state meetings, local dental societies, hospitals, study groups, and in private practices.

Dr. Phil has been a visiting clinical instructor at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, The HOYA College of Clinical Laser Dentistry, and The Center for Exceptional Practices.  He is co-founder of TEAM Laser Training of North America, a consulting firm dedicated to laser education within the profession of dentistry.  Its' vision is that "Together Everyone Achieves More." This has certainly been true in our practice during the 20 years that we have provided our patients with a laser alternative to conventional dentistry.

Dr. Phil is also a Fellow of The Academy of Laser Dentistry and is a Certified Dental Laser Educator.  He has served on the Academy's Board of Directors, and is one of only a handful of dentists in the United States to be recognized by the Academy as a Dental Laser Education Course Provider.  He is a testing examiner for the Academy, The World Clinical Laser Institute, and the Congress of The Asia Pacific Laser Institute.

Touch the Future

Lasers are revolutionizing dental practice and are hastening the evolution of a higher standard of care. Since 1990, our practice has been committed to their use, and we are dedicated to on-going education, research, and clinical excellence.  We are proud to be a Beta Site for new instruments.  This guarantees we will always have the latest technology available to the profession. We have been using lasers in dentistry longer than any other office in the Pacific Northwest, and are determined to continue to lead the way.

Live Longer and Live Healthier

See for yourself how laser therapy can become an integral part of your "Wellness Model."  The founders of The Mayo Clinic have suggested "a person with a healthy mouth will live ten years longer." Today, as never before, with lasers we are offering our patients the hope of a better tomorrow by providing oral health care in ways we could only dream of a few years ago.  We always welcome questions from those who want to know more about how they might benefit from laser assisted Oral Medicine.
